Today marks exactly one year since the release of my 2670 RPG. At first I treated it as an experimental spin-off of my wargame, but it turned out I got completely absorbed, and after a year I can proudly say I’ve done a solid piece of work!
- the rules have been refined and in the current version from 01.01.26 they are rock solid;
- I’ve published 4 expansions: three sets of advanced professions (corporate, space crew, underground) and a set of ready-to-play characters for one-shots or as NPCs;
- I’ve published 7 full episodes (adventures), 5 of which form a series (campaign);
- I’ve published 7 Shorts (an original format of short one-shots designed for quick sessions);
- I’ve released 7 sets of modular maps for print-at-home – each in a different style;
- I’ve released 12 different sets of 15mm miniatures as STLs (from 1 to 8 miniatures per set);
Of course, it’s worth remembering that the “core” rules alone include the rulebook, an 80+ page setting description, small additions (tables), space combat rules, 6 different classes of small ships, and a 3-map starter scenario (which can also be assembled from modular maps).
Altogether, this gives you not just a ruleset, but a complete game ecosystem.
And that’s not all. I have a large amount of material, much of it already finished or close to publication, and in the coming months you can expect at least 7 scenarios, 3 new map sets, several sets of 3D printable miniatures, and another 3 expansions (military, blue-collar, academic) – and that’s only the guaranteed stuff.
Can I add anything else? Maybe just that 2670 RPG was created out of passion for making things and the joy of playing and writing, so everything mentioned above is available for free (pay-as-you-want, to be precise).
If you haven’t checked out 2670 RPG yet, this is a good time to catch up.
