2670 RPG dedicated website
What started as a side non-commercial passion project has grown into a vast and continuously expanding hard sci-fi RPG ecosystem. Over time, 2670 RPG evolved far beyond a single rulebook, growing into a universe filled with expansions, narrative episodes, campaign series, Shorts, modular map systems and 3D-printable miniatures.

2670 Episode – Karma
A drifting freighter. A silent contract. A job that was never meant to be clean.

2670 Squares: Sci-Fi Caves
The Sci-Fi Caves collection is the largest 2670 Squares set released so far, containing 44 modular tiles focused on natural underground environments, ancient mysteries, and claustrophobic exploration beneath alien worlds. Unlike the industrial corridors of Sci-Fi Mines or the reinforced interiors of Underground Base, the tunnels in this collection are intentionally styled as natural cave formations — rough, uneven, and shaped by geological…

2670 RPG – One Year Later
Today marks exactly one year since the release of my 2670 RPG. At first I treated it as an experimental spin-off of my wargame, but it turned out I got completely absorbed, and after a year I can proudly say I’ve done a solid piece of work!

2670 RPG: Underground Professions
As today marks the one-year anniversary of the release of 2670 RPG, I’ve got not one but two new additions for you — a bonus Short scenario, Hive Break, and a supplement, Underground Professions, which lets you step into the roles of rebels, revolutionaries, or just plain scum with no ideological agenda whatsoever.

2670 RPG Short – Hive Break
A corporate rescue mission descends into a silent mining complex, where contact was lost without explanation. Officially, the team is there to recover survivors and restore critical systems—but the deeper they go, the clearer it becomes that something beneath the surface is still very much alive, watching, and adapting.

PMC 2670 Renegotiated
It’s a fact that lately Assault Publishing Studio page has been dominated by content related to 2670 RPG. I won’t deny that working on RPG material is simply more enjoyable than working on a wargame, and on top of that, regular sessions with friends naturally fuel the creation of new content. That doesn’t exclude work…

Cry for the Moon
The 24th of every month is the day I try to publish another scenario for 2670 RPG. This time, something special!

Sci-fi Female Assassin Miniature
The deadly and elegant Female Assassin has just joined our STL collection

2670 RPG Short – Assembly Line Echo
A tense industrial infiltration set deep inside a fully automated megafactory. Disguised as inspectors or service crew, the players descend into a forgotten production sector to carry out a sabotage mission – only to discover that the system they are meant to destroy is far more fragile, and far more human, than expected.

2670 RPG Short – The Cargo
The Cargo A sci-fi thriller aboard a corporate transport carrying a sealed, classified payload. With a saboteur hidden among the crew and identical cargo containers masking the truth, the players must investigate mounting system failures while paranoia spreads through the ship. When the cargo is finally revealed, the situation begins to slip away. Designer note:…

2670 Squares: Underground base collection released
The Underground Base big collection (26+1 tiles) expands the modular underground environments of the 2670 Squares system, focusing on a fortified, functional installation hidden beneath the surface. Designed for military, corporate, or secret research use, this set supports scenarios involving base defense, internal sabotage, hostile takeovers, or desperate last stands. Visually, the collection is fully…

2670 RPG Expansion – Space crew profession
Vacuum-rated loyalty. Improvised survival. Shared guilt. The 2670 – Space Crew Professions supplement introduces six roles for those who keep flying long after it stopped making sense. You’ll patch hulls, reroute power, negotiate with gravity, and discover that space doesn’t care about your backstory. Benefits include: unreliable pay, found family, and just enough oxygen to regret your…

2670 RPG Short – Pheromone Critical Point
Pheromone Critical Point A distress call from the fringe. A biotech research facility on Planet X-98 Nefra has gone dark following a ‘biological incident’. You are EKOPA, an emergency team sent to secure the area and retrieve assets. But the facility’s experiments have unleashed something that cannot be controlled, and the environment is highly unstable.…

The End of an Experiment
After six months, Assault Publishing Studio has officially ended its (unsuccessful) experiment with Patreon. Instead, we’ve launched a new website, focused on what actually matters: clear information and easy access to content. No gimmicks, no noise — just the meat. Our entire catalogue is once again available on Wargame Vault and DriveThruRPG, in the same…

REBEL YELL! – PMC 2670 ARMY OVERVIEW (ARCHIVE)
Introduction For me, Rebels were the most challenging army in PMC 2670 to design. They are based on a concept dating back to 2013 or 2014. I created three complete army list drafts for PMC 2640J: rebels, bugs, and planetary defense forces. I abandoned the last one quickly, as it was very similar to…

BUG TALES – PMC 2670 ARMY OVERVIEW (ARCHIVE)
Some time ago my friend told me that sci-fi wargame must have the Bugs. In PMC 2640 they had only small selection of units, dedicated as OpFor for solitaire mode, but in PMC 2670 Space Bugs (or simply Bugs) are complete army list. From the game designer point of view, Bugs are heavy task –…

OPERATION WINDMILL / PMC 2670 – AAR (ARCHIVE)
This is the after-action report left by the 2nd Company of the Varuna Legion after their encounter with the Rebels of the Movement Zen on Ariadnne III. The Varuna Legion, having started out as a Tier I company have, during the 40 or so battles it has fought, grown, and is now a well-established Tier…

AMBUSH! / PMC 2670 – AAR (ARCHIVE)
A few years ago I played new Ambush scenario from incoming PMC 2670 rulebook and tested improved OpFor algorithm. Solitaire rules were very important part of PMC 2640 and in second edition (2670) they will be pushed forward even more. Previously you could only play as mercenaries against rebels or space bugs which were dedicated…

BROKEN NEGOTIATIONS / PMC 2670 – AAR (ARCHIVE)
Dear Mr. Frethl, As previously communicated, the rebel colony militia has seized control of the main generator building, a critical asset for the ongoing terraforming operations. Unfortunately, due to the incompetence of local management, after several days of siege, the above-ground portion of this multi-million-dollar complex has been completely destroyed and remains under rebel control.…
